Gaylene Anne Barnes (NZ)
I am an artist and filmmaker. I direct animated films, documentary and drama. [see Filmography]. As a painter, I specialise in egg tempera, building on the sacred icon & alchemical traditions to create modern objective artworks. I honour the animal, vegetable, mineral, and energetic elements I work with, as part of my commitment to the maintenance of the Earth and the enlivening of the Human Soul. I graduated with a Diploma in Fine Arts in Computer Art in 1991, and a History Degree in 1998.
