Holes of History

Experimental Film, DV, 2’50”
Wellington Fringe Film Festival, 2003.

An experimental short film using archive footage from Lyttelton, based on the poem “A Space Odyssey”.

A Space Odyssey

Looking out into the dark sky we call night,
I saw the space between the light.

I travelled fast, through the gaps,
long space, fat time,
a stroll through hollows,
an adventure in gaps.

Depressions and subversions
the portals between
time lost in space.

An emptiness betwixt.
Moments that were,
numerous, multitudinous, voluminous.

This full history.
Unknown.

It was a voyage of holes.
