Mandorla IN FRANCE

I am exhibiting four sacred artworks in this group exhibition near Paris, France. OPEN NOW!

The mandorla – a simple shape, an elongated almond, which for centuries has surrounded the bodies of saints as a sign of passage. Maubuisson Abbey has now made it the beating heart of a new artistic adventure, convening a constellation of artists, including my work, from multiple horizons to explore this spiritual force that is reinventing itself in our contemporary societies. Each work explores the fragile intersection between the intimate and the universal. By investing this eight-century-old Cistercian site, the artists celebrate a heritage as much as they extend its scope. The abbey becomes a matrix, a resonance, a space of passage where the spiritual is lived as a sensitive experience. Crossing Mandorla is to cross this luminous almond that connects heaven and earth – an exhibition at once carnal and mystical.
